Okay, part of me is being lazy because I couldn't think of something fun to blog about today. So I figured, "Eh, I'll give away some books!"
I'm waaaaay behind on having a contest to thank all my blogging friends for hanging out here for the last few months.
You guys have been great, and I really appreciate your comments and meeting so many new bloggers!
It's an easy contest.
Leave a comment telling me what book is next on your To Be Read list (one that you don't yet own).
Next Friday, May 13th I'll announce three winners (by random draw) and their book choices.
I'll put your name in the bucket an extra time each for blogging, FB, or tweeting the contest.
Simple and easy, no?
And the coolest thing is, we all get to see what everyone has next on their TBR list!
I can't wait to hear what everyone want to read. :) Good luck!
Also, don't forget to sign up for our "Laughter is the Best Medicine" Blogfest on May 16th!

One of many books is Hourglass. I loved the cover and the mystery sounds neat!
One on my list I haven't picked up is "Wither".
Can't wait till the blogfest. Should be fun to read every post.
Next on my list is "Leviathan" by Scott Westerfield. It's been recommended to me several times now, and I am extremely curious about the whole Steampunk genre!
Sleepwalking in Daylight by Elizabeth Flock. Great contest idea!
The Hating Game by Talli Roland.
I have way too many!! But one I've yet to purchase is City of Bones. (Yes, I am way behind on my TBR list.)
The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner. I hear she's such a subtle writer in hiding her clues.
Yay for your fab giveaways!! Thank you!!
On my TBR is Ann Best's memoir In the Mirror!
Have a great Friday! Take care
x
My next book is The Magician by Michael Scott. It's the second in The Immortal, Nicholas Flamel series.
Fun contest!
Shelley
I can't wait until Elana Johnson's Possession comes out. It's definitely on my TBR list. =o)
Hey, you. Playing catch up this week after the A-Z blogfest in April.
I'd love to read Across the Universe.
Great idea! I have so many on my list but I've been wanting to read anything by Brad Thor. He's been my author to check out for a while now.
Maybe The Help. I'm so far behind in reading I can barely think about adding another book to my teetering stack.
Talli Roland's The Hating Game!
I want to read Across the Universe.
(JL, Wither was great.)
Clarity by Kim Harrington sounds great (if this is open to Canadian residents).
Waiting to read "Unbroken" by Laura Hillenbrand.
Are you really going to make me choose only one book?!
Okay *sigh* Laurie Halse Anderson's "Fever 1793."
Lydia,
What a great idea for a contest!
My next book isn't out yet, it's called Double Dexter!
However, I'm up for some apocalyptic fiction with "A Land of Ash" by David Dalglish & others.
One I don't own yet? That's tricky. I was checking out the Jonathan Coe shelf online this morning for a totally different reason and quite fancy The Dwarves of Death.
I can't wait to read WHAT HAPPENED TO GOODBYE by Sarah Dessen. Only one more week until it's release date, yay.
Thanks for the great contest!! :)
I would love to read Kody Keplinger's - The Duff.
I want to read "Steampunk," an anthology of steampunk stories (hence the title), edited by Ann and Jeff Vandermeer. Sounds like a super collection! :)
I've been wanting to read Plain Kate by Erin Bow for the loooooongest time. It looks like the sweetest, most magical middle grade ever. I've been really trying to read more middle grade, too. Thanks for the giveaway!

How fun! I would love to read HOURGLASS by Myra McEntire (which comes out next month). I'll be tweeting, blogging, and mentioning on Facebook!
I'm half tempted to put some obscure medical textbook that costs $150+ just in case I win. I guess I'll go with... THE SIXTH MAN, by David Baldacci.
This is a super cool idea for a giveaway! I have way too many TBRs, but I definitely want to read Demon's Surrender by Sarah Rees Brennan when it comes out in June!
I've tweeted about this: http://twitter.com/kangaru/status/66554108047392768
Great idea! Hmm, one of the next books I'd like to read is Description and Setting by Ron Rozelle. Thanks for doing this, Lydia!
Happy Mother's Day weekend,
Karen
Wow. There are so many that I could choose. I'll say... Delirium by Lauren Oliver.
I'll put a link to this contest on my sidebar.

Next on my list is Black Sun Rising by CS Friedman.
I have my joke all ready to go. :D

The majority of my TBR list consists of books that aren't out yet -- and the top of that list is LEGEND by Marie Lu. For the ones that are out, I'm coveting PLAIN KATE by Erin Bow. :)

I just read your Blame Game post, hilarious!!!!
I'm linking your contest to my facebook but please don't enter me in the contest. I have so many books I haven't started! I'm in a reading funk :( I think after I get my rough drafts done, I'm taking a writing break and reading like a lunatic.
Good luck to everyone, though!
Great giveaway! I still don't own a copy of Anna and the French Kiss and I'm dying to read it, so that's my #1 pick!
next on my list is "Cleopatra" by Stacy Schiff
and or "Selfish Reasons to Have More Kids" by Bryan Caplan
Man! Been in the cave, so I missed this. But I'm dying for Possession. It's also not out yet, so I don't have it... And Elana's sort of a bloggie buddy--win, win! :D
Hope your weekend/mother's day was awesome~ <3
The first Harry Potter book The Sorcerer's Stone is next. Its ten years or so late, but I'm finally going to read it.
I want to read Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen.

There's so many!
I'm stuck between "Freedom" and "The Kitchen House."
Next on my list is Invincible Summer or Hourglass.
I love seeing what everyone else is up to.

Shift by Jeri Smith Ready. That would be my pick.
Christine(dot)danek(at)verizon(dot)net
Thanks.
Echoes, by Maeve Binchy. I used to LOVE everything she wrote but then kind of forgot about her. I'd love to curl up with this book, traveling to Ireland in the 1950s and 1960s!
What an awesome contest, Lydia!
I'll also post it on my blog.
Oh, great idea! I'll go with Hourglass by Myra McEntire. Thanks!
The Curious Case of the Dog in the Night-Time...yes, this has been out for a while...no, I haven't read it yet...soon, very soon.
