I can't believe I've made it to 500 followers! I can't think of a better way to celebrate than to give away some stuff. I have a favorite local bookstore, the Bookworm, and wondered if you all had a local store you loved as well.

I feel a little like an outcast, because I can't help but love my B&N. Sadly, I don't even know if there ARE any independent bookstores in my area. I should be tarred & feathered.

Well, I happen to live in the middle of nowhere. My closest source of books is Hastings, and, of course, the ever-present, online mega-bookstore of Amazon.com, haha. :)

We don't have a local bookstore! Is that not sad? The closest independent store is almost two hours away on Topsail Island, NC - Quartermoon Books & Gifts. I only get out there once a year, too.

That picture of your favourite bookstore looks very similar to a local bookstore that I used to go to, also called the Bookworm, in Frisco TX. I heard it closed down now which is such a bummer because the owners were wonderful people.
