500 Followers "LOVE YOUR LOCAL BOOKSTORE" Giveaway!

Hi guys!

I can't believe I've made it to 500 followers! I can't think of a better way to celebrate than to give away some stuff. I have a favorite local bookstore, the Bookworm, and wondered if you all had a local store you loved as well.
So, in honor of your favorite bookstore, I'd like to give away...

FOUR $15 gift cards to the local bookstore of your choice.

To enter into the giveaway, you must:

1. Be a follower of my blog
2. Please leave a comment with your email address and the name the local bookstore that you'd like to celebrate!

For extra drawings:
+3 for blogging
+3 for Facebooking
+2 for tweeting
+1 for mentioning it on your sidebar

This contest will run for two weeks and ends on December 3rd and is open to U.S. and Canadian residents only. Sorry!

Good luck, and three cheers for our indie booksellers!

Congrats on all the followers!!

I feel a little like an outcast, because I can't help but love my B&N. Sadly, I don't even know if there ARE any independent bookstores in my area. I should be tarred & feathered.

Hi Lydia - I just got 150 bucks in Borders gift cards for Halloween, so I'm not interesting in the prize but ... I did want to come on and with you a BIG CONGRATS on hitting the massive 500.

That is wonderful. You have a great day.

My email adress is polo(dot)coach(dot)neeb(at)gmail(dot)com. Readers World is the local indie bookstore... but I actually tend to be more of a library rat.

I'll be sure to make mention of this in my next Ducks post! (Might be today, depending on how things shake out.)

YAY! Congrats on the big 500! And very awesome of you to hold a giveaway =D
Oddly, we are a little short on independent bookstores considering we are a family business friendly city. So B&N is where we all have to go. Okay, so there's one other but it's a dive and not sure they even have gift cards since they don't even have receipts to speak of...

500!! Yay!! CONGRATULATIONS!!
Well, I happen to live in the middle of nowhere. My closest source of books is Hastings, and, of course, the ever-present, online mega-bookstore of Amazon.com, haha. :)

Congrats! 500 followers is huge.
We don't have a local bookstore! Is that not sad? The closest independent store is almost two hours away on Topsail Island, NC - Quartermoon Books & Gifts. I only get out there once a year, too.
I'll leave my email, but no idea what to tell you for a local store.

I'm in a rural area, sadly, and we've no small, independently-owned bookstores. I'd sure support it if we did, though.

And DUH! I totally forgot to mention the store. We don't have any independent ones that I know of. Lots of used ones, though. So, it will be Barnes and Noble for me. Again, thanks for the chance!

What a great idea. It is so important to support our local bookstores that support new authors.

My favorite is Audrey's in Edmonton. I rarely go as I tend to use the library. But it is a treat whenever I do.

I'll mention your contest on my Monday post. Congrats on the 500 followers.

Massive congrats on making 500 followers! That's such an achievment. You definitely deserve it.

That picture of your favourite bookstore looks very similar to a local bookstore that I used to go to, also called the Bookworm, in Frisco TX. I heard it closed down now which is such a bummer because the owners were wonderful people.

I love the names of some of the stores the rest of you go to.

@Em: Thanks for the heads-up on the Indy finder....
Wow! We have a indy around here? How did I not know that? (Probably because we never go to that Post Office.) I'll have to take a look at them.

@Carol Kilgore: Are you in service, spouse, or brat?
My dad was in the AF for 20 years, so I got to move around quite a lot.
And I liked it. Not the moving on someone else's schedule, but the constant travel, nonetheless.
